Partnership Hub

APTC is dedicated to improving and strengthening TVET systems across the Pacific region and Timor-Leste. Through strategic partnerships and coalitions, we're fostering sustainable initiatives that address critical skills gaps and support economic growth.

Our Principles

The following key principles guide our partnerships:

Key Partnerships

APTC is dedicated to advancing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) across the Pacific region and Timor-Leste through strategic collaborations. By partnering with key stakeholders, we focus on aligning TVET initiatives with industry needs, developing new qualifications, and addressing critical skills gaps. Our partnerships enable us to support the region in creating sustainable pathways to employment and contributing to economic and social development.

Pacific Regional Education Framework (PacREF)

As an implementing agency under PacREF, APTC collaborates closely with partners to develop industry-relevant, regionally recognised qualifications.

APTC’s involvement in PacREF reflects the Australian Government’s dedication to Pacific education, demonstrating unwavering support for regional progress through events like the PacREF Implementing Agencies Fono and the Steering Committee Meetings. These initiatives underscore APTC's commitment to aligning with PacREF's priorities.

TVET-Schools-Research

TVET in Schools Research

This ongoing project aims to identify and document existing policies, frameworks, and initiatives related to VET in Schools across the region.

By providing insights into current practices and challenges, we can support governments and development partners in enhancing VET in Schools and creating pathways to employment.

Our Partners for Impact

APTC partners with Pacific TVET institutions to drive impactful, locally-led reforms. Together, we strengthen TVET systems, empowering communities and building resilience. Through these collaborations, we support sustainable change, working alongside governments, the private sector, and civil society to shape the future of skills development in the region.
