Climate & Disaster Resilience

The Pacific and Timor-Leste region is particularly vulnerable to climate change and natural disasters. Recognising the need for climate-related skill development, APTC has aligned its efforts with global and regional frameworks, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Australia's Climate Change Action Strategy.

Our Commitment

We contributed to climate resilience through infrastructure support, integrating 'green' content into courses, and delivering specialised training modules.

The APTC Climate and Disaster Resilience Strategy has three key commitments: Greening APTC and TVET partners' facilities, increasing TVET sector influence and supporting skills development.
