Our vision
To support inclusive and gender-responsive Pacific and Timor-Leste Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) systems, which contribute to a skilled and productive workforce.
GEDSI in TVET
We prioritise a more inclusive and equitable Pacific and Timor-Leste. We are committed to dismantling barriers and empowering women and people with disabilities to realise their full potential through TVET. With targeted strategies and support from our partners, we promote inclusivity regardless of gender or ability.
GEDSI Framework
The GEDSI Framework has three key interventions: to address gendered and exclusionary norms within the Pacific & Timor-Leste TVET systems, eliminate institutional GEDSI barriers within APTC and empower socially excluded and marginalised groups within Pacific TVET systems.
Our Interventions
Address barriers preventing access and meaningful participation of women, PWD and individuals based in rural and remote areas in TVET systems.
Improve pathways to accessing and participating in TVET systems for women, PWD and individuals based in rural and remote areas.
Promote gender-responsive and inclusive Pacific & Timor-Leste TVET systems.
Our Commitments
Equity
Improving equitable access to training for women, persons with disabilities and individuals from small island developing states and rural and remote areas.
Employment
Improving employment outcomes for women, people with disabilities and individuals from small island developing states and rural and remote areas.
Inclusive TVET
