
Course Overview
This qualification covers competencies for work entry providing a grounding in safety and basic skills and knowledge for work in any electrotechnology discipline.
Graduates of this course will receive an internationally recognised Australian Qualification issued through TAFE Queensland (RTO 0275).

Duration
The course duration is 12 weeks full-time. Students will attend classes for a minimum of 5 days per week, and additional out-of-hours study time will be required.
Delivery Mode
Face-to-face training will be delivered in English and incorporate language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) support.

Course Content
EE22120 Certificate II in Sustainable Energy (Career start) will cover the following units of competency.

Entry Requirements
Citizenship
Must be a citizen of a Pacific Island Forum country. Be 18 years of age or older
Note that the PALM Scheme requires candidates to be over 21 years of age for employment purposes in Australia
Experience
It is recommended students entering this course have LL&N levels to Year 10 minimum. It is highly recommended that all students are computer literate as there is a portion of the course which includes computer work.
Assessment
Complete the Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment and Vocational Knowledge Assessment.
