Meet Theda. PNG’s First Female Trades Tutor

Meet Theda Theo. The new Fabrication Welding Tutor at the Australia-Pacific Technical College (APTC) Port Moresby Training Centre in PNG.  Theda, from Morobe Province has worked as a welder for over nine years and is one of 1179 Papua New Guineans amongst over 5,500 Pacific Islanders who have graduated from APTC so far.

After obtaining a Certificate III in Fabrication Welding from APTC in March 2013, Theda then successfully applied for a tutor role, she will be commencing a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment shortly...read more
